(07/11) LME Cu slips on poor US data

Copper gave up its gains in the official session on the London Metal Exchange on Friday following the release of weak economic data from the USA. Three-month copper settled at $6,560/61 per tonne in the official session before falling to an intraday low of $6,440.5 per tonne by 14.40GMT. This compares with an opening price of $6,535 per tonne.
